The month in which the fiscal year begins

Use

If an agreement has been reached with the recycling partner to report license fees by quarters, the declaration periods for the quarters can be set. This is important if the fiscal year does not correspond with the calendar year and the recycling partner does not follow the usual three-month periods (calendar quarters) for quarterly declarations.

Example

If the first fiscal year begins on 02/01 and ends on 01/31, the fees for for months February and March are to be declared to the DSD in the first quarter and the fees for months October through January are to be reported in the fourth quarter. The second and third quarters correspond with calendar quarters.
