Definition

The content ID key describes a characteristic of the REA packaging or REA article. The field content can be maintained on REA packaging level and is then applied as the default value for the assignment of the REA article. Alternatively, the field content can be maintained at REA article level.

Use

Where you maintain the field content depends on the Content ID Key Art. indicator in the "General Control" view for the recycling partner.

The field content is first defined for the recycling partner (Environment -> Content ID Key) and evaluated dependent on the document type when a declaration is made.
