Definition
The field describes the relationship of the component quantity of the packaging to the base quantity of the article:

Use
If a packaging is assigned to an article, the component quantity is calculated as follows at the assignment:
Component quantity(after) = relationship * base quantity article
If a packaging is added to an article, for which the packaging is already assigned, the component quantity is calculated as follows at the assignment:
Component quantity(after)=
Component quantity(before) + ( relationship * base quantity article)
If the packaging for an article is replaced by another packaging and the relationship field is blank, the component quantity is calculated as follows at the assignment:
Component quantity(after) = component quantity(before)
If the Relationship field is not blank, the component quantity is calculated as follows at the assignment:
Component quantity(after) = relationship * base quantity article
Example
Addition of packaging A to article 1
Base quantity of the article 1: 1000 pieces
Relationship for the packaging to be added A: 2 pieces
Result for the component quantity of the packaging A for article 1 after collective maintenance: 2000 pieces
