Definition
Preassign additional data from component quantity on the detail screen for packaging assignment
Use
If this indicator is set, when a new packaging assignment is made, the additional data is preassigned with the value of the component quantity / component quantity unit and the base quantity (number of sales units) / sales unit.
If the component quantity/component quantity unit is changed, the change is transferred to the additional data.
Dependencies
If the indicator is set and you have created the additional data correctly, the system always adapts the additional data accordingly when the component quantity/component quantity unit is changed. Any deviations from the component quantity/component quantity unit made manually are then overwritten.
A change to the base quantity in the article does not lead to the additional data being adapted automatically.
Example
You assign the packaging <A> with the component quantity 20 M to an article with the base quantity 10 ST when the indicator is set.
In the additional data for the packaging assignment, you now find the entries that 20 M packaging <A> corresponds to 10 ST (2 M equals 1 ST). Now overwrite the values on the detail screen with 40 M packaging <A> and 10 ST.
Now change the component quantity to 3000 CM. In the additional data for the packaging assignment, you now find the entries that 3000 CM packaging <A> corresponds to 10 ST.
