Definition
Specifies the ICMS tax rate on freight.
Dependencies
Tax rates are defined in Customizing for Financial Accounting, under Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Settings for Tax Calculation in Brazil -> Tax Rates. ICMS rates are defined for a certain combination of factors:
- Ship-from tax region -- ship-to tax region (normal rates)
- Ship-from tax region -- ship-to tax region -- material (material-dependent exceptions)
Dynamic exceptions can also be defined for ICMS, which allow you to define up to three key fields to define exceptions. In addition, a default rate can be maintained for ICMS, which the system uses if it cannot find the rate according to the factors listed above.
