Definition

Specifies the statistical unit of measure (UoM) for a given product code, as defined by the government. It may differ from the material's UoM recorded on the nota fiscal.

The Brazilian DNF reports this information in the following way in the appropriate registers: quantity of a material, corresponding UoM on the nota fiscal, conversion factor, and quantity of a material in the statistical UoM (following the conversion).

Procedure

Assume an outgoing nota fiscal lists the sale of three tons of material A. This information would be reported in register 2 of IN359 as follows:
