Definition
Specifies the authorization code of an electronic nota fiscal (NF-e) for services.
Use
The number is only relevant for service notas fiscaís issued in the municipality of Sao Paulo (Brazil) - for certain services and certain companies only, as defined by the law. The prefecture of the municipality of Sao Paulo creates the NF-e number after the company electronically submits nota fiscal data to the prefecture and the prefecture checks it.
Dependencies
The submitting company must then store the NF-e checking code in its database.
