Procedure

Enter a posting variant that includes all the dates that you want to run the Asset Revaluation (Inflation) program on.

It must cover all the dates in the posting variants assigned to the time base and exposure to inflation variants.

Dependencies

You can maintain posting variants in Customizing for Financial Accounting (FI), by choosing Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Inflation Accounting -> Maintain Posting Variants.

Examples

Assume that you revaluate some assets monthly and others quarterly. In that case, you must enter here a posting variant for monthly revaluation, so that you can execute the program in update mode at the end of every month.
