Documentation
Definition
Specifies the tolerance (expressed as a percentage) for price variances between the valuation price in the material master record and the market price found by the Market Price Determination program. This price tolerance prevents the program from determining unrealistic material replacement costs.
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
Typically you enter the price tolerance in the material inflation class, which you define in Customizing for Materials Management (MM), under Valuation and Account Assignment -> Balance Sheet Valuation Procedures -> Configure Replacement Cost Procedure (Inflation) -> Maintain Material Inflation Classes.
If you enter a price tolerance directly in the material master record, this value overrides that of the material inflation class assigned to the material.
