Definition

Describes the editing or translating status of an info object in the documentation development process.

There are the following status values:

  • Migrated:
    The info object was migrated, but not yet edited in the Knowledge Warehouse. When the info object is checked out for editing on the PC, it is automatically given status Editing.
  • Editing:
    While the info object is being edited or translated it has status Editing. Checking the info object in or out does not change this status.
  • Released:
    An author or translator assigned the info object this status. This shows that editing or translation has been completed in the current context and translation to other languages can begin.
    When a released info object is checked out again, the status is
    automatically set back to Editing if it was in editing mode
    Change. To be able to check out a released info object again in editing mode Translate, you must reset the check-out.
