Definition
Number of hash partitions for the logging table primary index.
Hash partitioning of the primary index of a logging table is highly recommendable if it must be expected that during the recording period, multiple parallel-running processes do high-volume data changes in the corresponding original table. In such a case the processing could be slowed down considerably without hash partitioning.
The number of partitions should always be a power of 2
