Documentation
Definition
The search string is used to seach for object intervals that you restrict using the upper and lower limit fields. The search algorhythm extends the search string at the start and end with the '*' sign. This means that the object in the field to be interpreted does not exclusively form the content of the field but forms part of a fuzzy search.
Use
'+' is the replcement sign for either figures or all characters (see theReplacement Sign field).
Blank characters do not have to be observed in the search string. The search algorhithm forms variants of the 'field to be interpreted'
, so that, in one case, the search objects are separated by blank characters and in other cases the blank characters are ignored.
