This field determines whether the country version of an infotype can be time dependent.

X = time-dependent country version possible

space = country version not time dependent

Example

In the case of addresses (infotype 0006), you do not always want to derive the country version from the organizational assignment. It could be the case that an employee does not live in the country in which he or she works. Therefore,you do not want to use the organizational assignment (that is,the employer's registered office). Instead,you want to be able to choose the country version of the address,and,if necessary,variate the time dependency.
