Definition
The accrual date is used for sales tax accrual and period-specific revenue distribution.
The billing period for the item is delimited for sales tax accrual. However, the system only takes into account periods that are greater than or equal to the period of the accrual date.
The period of the accrual date is used to determine the past and the future in order to carry out revenue distribution for specific periods. All past periods are posted immediately to the revenue account and a recurring entry document is created for the current and future periods.
