Definition
The frequency describes the regularly recurring publication of a media product. The frequency is assigned in the master record of the media product (together with the factory calendar) so that a default value based on it can be assigned to the issue sequence.
The following specifications of the frequency are possible:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Using the frequency and the factory calendar (for the media product) to have the system create the (planned) issue sequence in issue sequence maintenance using a simple rule.
