Definition
The multiple usage type controls whether or not the same ID code can be assigned to several media product master records.
You can specify the following for a multiple usage type:
- Whether or not several media products that are assigned to the same media product family can have the same ID code
- Whether or not one or more media products can have the same ID code as the media product family assigned
- Whether or not several media issues that are assigned to the same media product can have the same ID code
- Whether or not one or more media issues can have the same ID code as the media product assigned
The system checks for multiple usage of an ID code using the rules recorded for the multiple usage type that is assigned to the ID code type.
