Definition
Date on which a sufficient quantity of the item must be available so that picking can start.
Use
The system uses the material staging date to create requirements for Production and Purchasing. It determines the material staging date by counting back from the requested delivery date specified by the customer, taking into account the time required for activities connected with delivery, such as picking, packing, loading and transportation.
Procedure
The date is proposed by the system. You can change it in the sales document.
Dependencies
The picking date is the same as the material staging date.
