Use
Specify the public holiday calendar for to the production location.
Dependencies
These public holidays influence automatic generation of media issues using a generation rule.
Note
The factory calendar influences generation of daily objects such as media issues for the media product according to the publication period unit of the object.
- The system only uses public holidays from the factory calendar when generating dailies. Workdays are not relevant here. Public holidays are defined in the public holiday calendar that is referenced in the factory calendar. Weekly publication of the object is recorded in the generation rule.
- Public holidays and workdays from the factory calendar are relevant to the generation of Non-dailies.
Example: A monthly magazine is generated for the 25th day of the month. This date is a Saturday and Saturday is not a public holiday but is also not a workday. In this case, the publication date is moved to a different workday, for example Friday, the 24th.
