Definition
If you select this indicator, the business partner hierarchy type can be used for document management. You can then use documents that you have assigned to higher-level business partners in ads for the current business partner.
Example
You can use a BP hierarchy that has been defined in this way to represent the following situation: The car dealer 'Cardealer' for the DELUXE brand has its own Cardealer logo, which is used in its ads. You have assigned this logo to the car dealer as an info object in their master data. Since the car dealer is assigned below the 'Deluxe Group' business partner in a business partner hierarchy, they can also use brand logos that have been assigned to the 'Deluxe Group' business partner.
