Definition
Processing telephone and e-mail data in a duplicate
Use
This parameter determines how the system processes the telephone and e-mail data in a record that has been identified as a duplicate.
The following alternatives are possible:
- Copy data if also specified in the duplicate; this means any new data is copied
- Copy data if initial in duplicate; this means the data is deleted
- Always copy data: new data always overwrites existing data (combination of 1 and 2)
- Do not copy data: no changes are made to existing data
