Documentation
Definition
URL for an application (starting with http:// oder https://)
Use
Link to an application that can be run in the browser.
Dependencies
Example
If the URL points to a BSP application in a SAP System, a logon is performed for the first access. The client can be specified using the 'sap-client' parameter.
If the connection is made without using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), logon is performed using a dialog box, user and password.
If the connection is made using SSL (URL starts with 'https://'), logon can take place using a certificate (the logon dialog box is not displayed). This is recommended particularly if logon takes place in the SAP System using Single Sign-On.
