Definition
The modification indicator controls whether information or specific data records can be overwritten by the data transfer program for the product hierarchy (S&P) and by any manual change. The restriction for the manual change does not apply if the user is assigned to the J_PRDH_T_ALL authorization profile.
Use
The modification indicator can have the following settings:
- Not changed manually: Record was not changed manually.
- Changed manually, can be overwritten (except description): The record can be changed with the exception of the description.
- Changed manually, can be overwritten generally: You can make any changes to the record
- Changed manually, cannot be overwritten: The record cannot be overwritten.
