Definition
This field is used to display hierarchical relationships between positioning instructions.
Examples
A website contains one banner that consists of 3 sub-banners. The following positioning instructions have been created for the 3 sub-banners:
Positioning instruction Description
B_LT Banner left-hand section
B_MT Banner middle section
B_RT Banner right-hand section
A customer can now buy the entire banner B3/3, one of the three sub-banners or a sub-banner (B_LM, B_MR), that consists of two of the three sub-banners.
If these positioning instructions are placed in a hierarchical relationship as follows:
Higher-level Lower-level
B3/3 B_LM
B3/3 B_MR
B_LM B_LT
B_LM B_MT
B_MR B_MT
B_MR B_RT
They are displayed as follows in online planning:
Positioning instruction, Display hierarchy level
B3/3 #
B_LM _#
B_LT __#
B_MT __#
B_MR _#
B_MT __#
B_RT __#
