Definition
This rule describes the way in which gross impressions are to be distributed amongst the fixed spaces involved.
You can assign this rule to online combined booking units and fixed space groupings.
Use
The following distribution rules exist:
- 01 Percentage due to planned gross impressions that have been recorded for individual fixed spaces.
- 02 Distributed absolutely equally
All fixed spaces involved receive the same share. - 03 Percentage manually
Manually as a result of the percentage rates recorded in the master data. These percentages are recorded in the assignment of fixed spaces to the fixed space grouping or in the booking unit hierarchy for the combined booking unit. - 04..06 Customer reserve 1 - 3
In various variants using a customer exit. Components in enhancement JH130002 are available to you here.
This distribution rule is used in the following circumstances:
- When distributing target gross impressions from the content component assignment for a fixed space grouping amongst the fixed spaces that are booked by this grouping.
- When distributing target gross impressions from the content component assignment in a combined booking unit amongst the fixed spaces that are booked by this combined booking unit.
This distribution is performed before distribution amongst target groups.
Distribution rules 02 Distributed absolutely equally and 03 Percentage manually do not take account of the planned circulation quantity for planned gross impressions (c.f. distribution rule 02 Distributed absolutely equally amongst target groups).
Example
The outcome of the distribution rules that are supported in the standard system can be illustrated using the following simple example:
Target gross impressions at booking unit/content component assignment level: Target gross impressions = 50 000
Planned gross impressions
Fixed space 1: 60 000 (percentage rate 90%)
Fixed space 2: 20 000 (percentage rate 10%)
- Distribution rule 01 Percentage due to planned gross impressions
Total planned gross impressions = 80 000
Target group 1: 20 000 is 25% of 80 000
25% of 50 000 = 12 500
Target group 2: 60 000 is 75% of 80 000
75% of 50 000 = 37 500 - Distribution rule 02 Distributed absolutely equally
50 000 / 2 = 25 000
Fixed space 1: = 25 000
Fixed space 2: = 25 000 - Distribution rule 03 Percentage manually
Fixed space 1: 90% of 50 000 = 45 000
Fixed space 2: 10% of 50 000 = 5 000
