Definition
The system assigns target gross impressions to an entry in the content component assignment in the order item.
During online planning, these target gross impressions are distributed amongst the schedule lines generated on the basis of the entry in the content component assignment.
The system takes account of the following distribution rules here:
- Distribution rule for fixed spaces in a fixed space grouping
- Distribution rule for basic booking units in a combined booking unit
- Distribution rule amongst target groups
- Distribution rule amongst target groups of the target group type for the order item.
The outcome of this distribution produces the target gross impressions:
- For the schedule line or
- Schedule line and target group
The system does not take account of actual gross impressions for the schedule line when calculating target gross impressions.
Target gross impressions therefore reflect the planned distribution of target gross impressions in the content component assignment amongst the schedule lines (and target groups).
