Use

This field is used to define the connection between a CRM mail campaign and an IS-M Internet application with regard to assigning certain default values. You can create a connection using a parameter, which is specified in the mail and which can be used to derive certain data. In an e-mail campaign, you can attach this parameter to a link to an IS-M Internet application.

The data is taken from three different areas: data from CRM, data on the business partner and logon data for the business partner who is the recipient of the mail. The CRM data includes the marketing campaign (on which the mail campaign is based), the business partner, name and form of address. The business partner data includes the address data on a business partner relevant to the IS-M IACs (structure RJKWWW_ADDRESS) including the business partner number. The business partner logon data includes the address and business partner number (as part of structure RJKWWW_CHECK). You can assign a default entry to one of these logon fields, allowing the customer to be identified (the other part of the logon procedure still required is the check, for which the business partner must enter further data).

Depending on the setting made in this field, default values are entered in certain fields during the IAC. These values allow you to influence the way processing continues for the IAC. The following settings are possible:

  1. No connection to CRM / do not assign defaults:
No connection to CRM is set up and no defaults are assigned to fields in the IAC.
  2. Only preassign CRM data:
The data from CRM is preassigned. The campaign number is passed on when an order is created. You can track the campaign. The customer can be addressed using the 'Name' and 'Form of Address' fields in the CRM data but the business partner address fields relevant for the IAC remain blank. The customer may have to log on.
  3. Preassign CRM data, name and address of BP:
The data from CRM is preassigned. The first and last name and form of address are assigned from the customer address fields. The customer may have to enter their own address or log on.
  4. Preassign CRM data, BP address:
The CRM data and the business partner's address data - if the business partner is known in IS-M - is preassigned. The business partner is not logged on, which means from a technical point of view that the business partner number remains blank in the address structure.
  5. Preassign CRM data, BP address, log BP on:
The data from CRM and the business partner address data is preassigned, and the businesss partner is logged on.
  6. Preassign CRM data, preassign logon data (address):
In addition to the CRM data, certain logon data is preassigned, in this case the address fields. This means the user can be identified using these fields; the customer must enter additional data for the check.
  7. Preassign CRM data, preassign logon data (business partner number):
In addition to the CRM data, the business partner number is entered in the logon data. This means the user can be identified but the customer must enter additional data for the check.

In addition to assigning certain default values, the fact that the customer accessed the link in the mail and started the IS-M Internet application is noted in CRM in settings 2-5. This enables you to judge the success of and response to an e-mail campaign.
