Documentation
Definition
When display is refreshed automatically, changes that have been entered are only visible if all changes have been made and the corresponding locks removed.
The removal of the locks is reported to the program setting up display by a second lock request, which waits a specified maximum period for the process to be performed successfully.
The maximum queue period is defined by the system parameter 'enque/delay_max' (maintenance in transaction RZ11), which defines the maximum number of lock attempts for a lock request throughout the system (a typical value would be five lock attempts per lock request, with each lock attempt involving a wait of approximately one second).
You can specify in this field the number of times this queue period is to apply during an automatic refresh.
