Definition

This indicator is used to control the circumstances in which a document appears in the search result for the document search. This enables you to control whether documents are displayed during the search in other business objects or business object types and whether they can be assigned to these other business objects/types.

This indicator can be defined as follows:

• No restriction
  The document appears in the search result if all search criteria are fulfilled.
• Only in business objects of the same object type
  The document only appears in the search result if the search is started from a business object that has the same object type as the business object(s) to which the document was previously assigned.
  Example: A document is assigned to a business partner. The document only appears in the search result if the search was started from a business partner. This does not apply to the document search in the order.
• Only in the same business object
  The document only appears in the search result if the search was started in a business object to which the document has already been assigned.
  Example: A document is assigned to business partner ABC. The document is only displayed in the search result from ABC.
