Definition

This rule describes how target gross impressions for an online item (target gross impressions for the booking unit/content component assignment) are divided between the billing datasets generated.

The following distribution rules are supported:

  • 01: Percentage due to planned gross impressions
  • 02: Distributed absolutely equally

Note that you cannot use the "Percentage due to planned gross impressions" distribution rule if you have not defined any planned figures.

Example

A customer books a target gross impressions figure of 100 between January 1st and January 7th. The system has been configured to produce two billing datasets here: one for the period between January 1st and January 3rd (3 days) and one for January 4th (1 day). Planned figures that have been recorded in the system change as of January 3rd.
