Definition
A basic booking unit with the online use becomes a fixed space grouping if the Fixed space grouping indicator is selected.
You can use a fixed space grouping to combine several fixed spaces. If a fixed space grouping is booked, all fixed spaces that are assigned to this grouping are also booked.
Example
Your Internet offering contains several pages that cover fashion, but these pages are assigned under different booking units.
These 'Fashion' pages can be combined as a 'Fashion' fixed space grouping and sold to customers in this form.
If a customer books this 'Fashion' fixed space grouping, their advertising is displayed on all of these 'Fashion' pages (thematic rotation).
Use
You can assign a fixed space grouping in the master data for online fixed spaces.
This allows you to book the same space directly through the sale of the associated basic booking unit, a higher-level combined booking unit or a fixed space grouping.
The advantage of a fixed space grouping over a combined booking unit is that the structure of the fixed spaces booked (content component, positioning instruction) can be more flexible.
