Definition
This field contains the total amount of an estimated invoice.
The total amount is the sum of all amounts of the charge components calculated for the patient's estimated length of stay in the hospital. If you selected the Medisave option when executing the estimated invoice program, the Medisave claim is subtracted from the total amount calculated.
