Definition
This field contains the card number.
According to the original definition by the European Union, this is an individual sequential identification number that is assigned to each card by the card issuer. The number consists of two parts, the identification number of the issuing institution (according to norm EN 1867 of 1997) and the serial number of the card.
Some countries, such as Italy and Romania, also use letters in the card number.
