Definition

Highest level sort key for grouping IRM object types. For example, SAP supplies the object category OT_FOR_BS in the standard system. It is available for the object types (usually Business objects) of the SAP Business Suite. Another object category is available for the business objects of SAP Business ByDesign.

The IRM Framework enables SAP partners (ISVs) to create additional object categories as required.
