Definition

This parameter determines how the posting date is determined for the aggregated bill.

Use

You have the following options for determining the posting date of the aggregated bill:

' ' :    Date is Preset

'1':    From Date of Bill

'2':    From Date of Bill Receipt

'3':    Same as ' ', for BB Request from Planned Date for Payment

'4':    Same as '1', for BB Request from Planned Date for Payment

'5':    Same as '2', for BB Request from Planned Date for Payment

The planned date for payment in database table TINV_INV_TRANSF corresponds to the due date THPDT - that is, the planned date for transfer of payment to a third party.

Dependencies

Ensure that the corresponding posting period is open for the posting date in question.

  • If you chose variant 1 or 2 for determining the posting date, the budget billing requests or prepayments are handled as bills - that is, the posting date for budget billing requests and prepayments is generally not determined from the planned date for payment.
  • If yopu chose variant 3, 4, or 5, the following applies:
    • If the planned date for payment for budget billing requests or prepayments is after or the same as the system date, the planned date for payment is used as the posting date for the document of the aggregated bill.
    • If the planned date for payment is before the system date, the system date is used as the posting date.
