Definition
If a device is replaced and meter reading orders exist for the old device after the replacement date, those meter reading orders are created for the new device. If you need to keep the logical register number of certain registers, the meter reading document number, the entry number and the check number are saved.
If the device replacment and meter reading order dates are close to each other, the meter reading may take place before the device replacement. This means that the meter reading result cannot be entered before the device replacement.
The device replacement interval specifies the number of days provided for results entry prior to device replacement.
Example:
- Device repalcement interval: 5 days
- 1. Order creation for periodic meter reading of device 1: 05/10/2000
- 2. Replacement of device 1 with device 2: 05/09/2000
- 3. Entry of periodic meter reading result: 05/08/2000
This is permitted if the meter reading date is no more than 5 days before device replacement.
