Definition
Minimum amount for the interest calculation. If the interest calculated is less than the minimum amount, the minimum amount is used.
Example

Interest has been calculated at 15 EUR for a period of 10 days. As the minimum amount is 20 EUR for the interval 7 to 30 days, the business partner is charged 20 EUR interest for 10 days.
Note
Note that the minmum interest amount is calculated for each subitem subject to interest.
After a partial payment, the minumum interest amount is calculated for the cleared and the remaining open subitems. However, if you have set the indicator Summarize Subitems before Interest Calculation in the interest key, and you have selected both subitems for the interest calculation, the interest program summarizes both subitems before the interest calculation and calculates the minimum interest amount for the total amount.
