This means that you can also interpolate meter reading results on the basis of estimated meter reading results.

Use

This indicator is taken into account during order creation and when entering meter reading results.

You want to interpolate a meter reading result.

  • Scenario a: The indicator is not set
    • The system checks in activity Define Automatic Interpolation for Meter Reading Reasons whether interpolation is permitted.
    • As the indicator is not set, only actual meter reading results can be used for interpolation. The system checks whether the interval contains actual meter reading results.
      • If the interval does contain actual results, they are used for interpolation.
      If the interval does not contain actual meter reading results, interpolation is not possible.
  • Scenario b: The indicator is set

As the indicator is set, interpolation is also permitted using estimated meter reading results.
