Documentation
Use
In this field, you enter the inspection type(s) that is/are to be deleted in the target system - if the inspection type(s) exist(s) in the target system.
Procedure
- Enter the inspection type that you want to delete, or
- Use a placeholder (* or +) if you want to delete generically. The placeholder '*' can consist of a character string of any desired length, while placeholder '+' can represent any desired character.
Note
The entry is transferred to the target system unchecked, since it is not possible to check the inspection types in the target system.
If you make an entry in this field, the system executes two activities: it first triggers a deletion run if inspection types are assigned to the material in the target system and then it assigns the inspection types to be transmitted to the material in the target system.
Examples
If you want to delete all inspection types for a material in the target system, you enter a '*' in this field. If no inspection types are assigned to the material in the source system, no inspection types will be assigned to the material in the target system once the data has been transmitted. However, if inspection types are assigned to the material in the source system, these exact inspection types will be assigned to the material in the target system once the data has been transmitted.
For example, if you want to delete all inspection types in the target system that contain the value '1' in the tens position (for example, 10, 11, 1A, 1Z, and so on), enter the value '1+' in this field. The placeholder '*' can consist of a character string of any desired length, while placeholder '+' can represent any desired character.
Dependencies
If no inspection types are assigned to a material in the target system, the delete function is ignored (even if you made an entry in this field).
