Processing frequency for collections.

Use

In a posting run, the collection frequency is used to determine the deferral date for open items belonging to this contract account.

Deferral date = Base date + N * Collection frequency

N is chosen by the system so that the deferral date is greater than or equal to the due date.

The deferral date thus determined is stored in individual line items.

In a payment run, items belonging to this contract account that have reached the deferral date are selected for payment clearing.
