Definition
The content component type divides the content components into sections columns and special publications. Extra types include "Root nodes for content component hierarchies" and "not suitable for summarization".
Use
You can use the content component type to make a fundamental distinction between content components which
- can be used for evaluations and
- are used internally for validation (i.e only content components of the "root node" type can be used as roots of a content component hierarchy).
