Definition

This field shows you if the contents of the field for which you have called up this function come from the reference functional location.

Procedure

If you are creating or changing a functional location and have called up the dialog box for data origin specially for a particular field, this field is ready for input. Mark this field if you want data to be copied from the master record of the reference functional location.

Dependencies

Observe the following dependencies:

• The field for which you want to carry out the data origin function must be ready for input otherwise the dialog box only appears in the display mode.
• The contents of certain fields can then only be transferred from the reference location if the organizational unit to which they belong also obtains its data from there.

  Example:

  If the field MaintPlanGroup has to get its data from the reference location you must observe the following dependency structure:

Maintenance planning group -> Maintenance planning plant
