Definition

You can plan on appropriation requests, dependent on the plan profile, in the controlling area currency, the object currency, or both. In each case, you can display the plan values in the other currency.

When you create an appropriation request, the system proposes the company code currency as the object currency. You can overwrite this proposal if these conditions are met:

• The controlling area of the appropriation request does not allow a different company code currency.
• There are no plan values yet.
• No orders or WBS elements are assigned.

The object currency is adopted by orders or WBS elements when they are created. Costs and payments on measures are managed in the controlling area currency and in the object currency.
