Definition
The reason for environmental investment classifies investments according to their purpose as related to environmental legislation.
Use
This field can be used as a sort criterion in reporting, for example. You can use these reports, for example, for responding to inquiries from governmental agencies.
You can also make a percentage distribution to several environmental investment reasons. The total of the percentages does not have to equal 100%.
Example:
Water protection - 30%
Noise reduction - 20%
Note
You can also enter a reason for environmental investment in the master record of WBS elements, orders and fixed assets. However, on those objects percentage distribution is not possible.
You can define any number of environmental investment reasons as allowed entries. You define them in Investment Management Customizing. These definitions are then also valid for WBS elements, internal orders and fixed assets.
