Definition

The distribution percentage rate specifies how you divide the appropriation request by percentages among the different requesting organizational units. Requesting organizational units are: cost center, business area, profit center, division, and material class.

The following rules apply to the distribution percentage rate:

• Distribution by cost centers, business areas and profit centers must always add up to a total of 100% for all three together.

  When you distribute by cost centers, the system automatically derives the corresponding distribution for business areas and profit centers. However, you can also specify distribution by business areas or profit centers on their own.

• The distribution by division and material class are each separate. They each have to add up to 100%.
