Definition
Specifies that cost estimates are adopted from appropriation requests by measures, when measures are created from appropriation requests.
Use
If you set this indicator, the following logic applies to the transfer of plan costs when you create a measure (WBS element or order):
If a cost estimate is maintained for the variant, from which plan costs are to be transferred, then the cost estimate is copied and adopted on the measure. The plan values in that case are not adopted in structure planning (WBS element) or in overall plan values (order). Instead, the costs on the measure are recalculated based on the cost estimate.
Under certain circumstances, this can result in the values being different on the measure than on the appropriation request. This can occur if the costing variants for projects have different Customizing settings for pricing than do those for appropriation requests.
If this indicator is not set, then the plan values are always adopted directly by structure planning of WBS elements or by overall planning of orders.
Note: This indicator does not apply to the creation of maintenance orders from appropriation requests, since it is not possible to assign cost estimates to maintenance orders.
