Documentation
Definition
Specifies that an order (or WBS element) using this budget profile can only be budgeted if the order (or the WBS element or a WBS element above it in the hierarchy) is assigned to a program position of an investment program with the correct program type.
Use
By entering a program type here, you ensure that orders (or WBS elements) with a given budget profile cannot receive overall or annual budgets unless they (the order, WBS element or a WBS element above it in the hierarchy) are assigned to an investment program of this program type.
If you use appropriation requests, you can also make this assignment indirectly, by assigning the order (or WBS element or a WBS element above it in the hierarchy) to an appropriation request, which in turn is assigned to an investment program position.
Dependencies
After this assignment has been made to an investment program position, the following indicators determine how the order/WBS element can be budgeted:
- By means of the budget distribution functions in Investment Management, if both of the indicators below are set in the program type:
- If the two indicators below are as follows in the program position, then budgeting takes place, first for the total values and then for the annual values, using the budgeting functions of Investment Management:
- Budget distribution of total values is set
- Budget distribution of annual values is not set
- Using the budgeting functions for orders (or WBS elements) if both of the above indicators are not set.
