Documentation
Definition
Controls the order in which the system assigns documents to a given reporting category and, if required, reporting subcategory for inclusion in the foreign trade declaration - in the case that a document fulfills the selection criteria defined for at least two different selection rules.
Use
You assign system fields to your reporting categories and subcategories as required; this instrusts the system to report documents in that category and subcategory, according to this criterion. You need to assign a priority so the system knows which reporting category or subcategory to assign the document to if both selection rules are fulfilled, in either of the following cases:
- If you enter different fields for different reporting categories
- If you enter different fields for different reporting subcategories within the same reporting category
Dependencies
If a document fulfills selection rules defined for different reporting categories or subcategories:
- and different priorities are entered, then the system assigns the document to the reporting category/subcategory with the lower-numbered priority.
- and no priority is entered or the same priority is entered, then the system does not assign this document to either reporting category/subcategory.
Dependencies
Example
Consider the following case in which different fields are entered for assignment to different reporting categories:
Reporting category Priority Field From-value To-value
A1 1 BELNR 1800000000 1800000199
B1 2 BSCHL 40 40
A document is posted under posting key 40, with document number 1800000010. It could be assigned to either reporting category A1 or B1, but since A1 is entered as priority 1 (which is less than 2), the system assigns this document to reporting category A1.
