This specifies the status of the requested travel service.
The following statuses have been defined:

  • @B3@ Open
You have entered planning data for the travel request but not yet performed an availability query.
  • @B5@ Request
You have performed an availability query for the requested travel service. The system is now awaiting confirmation by the provider.
  • @B4@
    • Preserved
If, after performing an availability query, you have chosen a specific travel service and the availability has been confirmed by the provider, the system makes a preservation. The system is now awaiting your confirmation. In other words, the requested travel service is now available for a certain length of time for you to make a binding reservation.
    • Reserved and confirmed
Via Reserve travel plan, you have made a binding reservation for the requested travel service and booked.
  • @B6@ Selection canceled
Via Cancel, you have indicated that a reserved and confirmed travel service is to be canceled. Cancellation will not be final with the connected reservation system until you confirm it explicitly via the relevant pushbutton. Then the status of this travel plan will again be set to open.

Definition

Specifies the approval status of the travel request.

The approval status indicates whether the last action performed by the user has been confirmed by the provider.

The following statuses are used:

  • @08@ Confirmed
The provider of the travel service has confirmed the user's last action (such as reservation or cancellation) with OK. No further steps are to be taken by the user regarding this travel request.
  • @09@ Requested
The system has not yet received a response from the provider regarding the user's last action. The status of the travel request is not yet clear. The user has to check again at a later time, to see if his or her last action has been confirmed. Confirmation information is updated each time the user changes or saves the travel request.
  • @0A@ Not confirmed
If this status is displayed for a travel request, the user can see that the provider has not yet received any information on this travel request from the SAP system or from the reservation system. The system is therefore awaiting the user's next action so that it can transfer this information to the provider.
