Definition

Means that a text is assigned to the selected item, without removing the item (in other words, completely deleting it).

Use

This means that within the differences log you can define a text for one or multiple items. If the item has been reduced, this text is a reason text. If the item has been approved, this is a note text.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In User-Defined Text Processing, select the required item/s
  2. In the Category field, select a category (if a category has been defined in customizing)
  3. In the Sample Module field, select a sample text module.
  4. Select the Only Text radio button
  5. Select the Execute pushbutton

In the selected items, there is an X in the Reason Exists field. This means that there is either a reason text or a note text.
