Definition
Controls how the system creates the claim item grouping when you execute the relevant function code in claims processing.
Use
The following settings are possible:
- Normal Creation
When you execute the function code in claims processing, the system creates the relevant claim item grouping.
- Copy Previous Grouping
When you execute the function code in claims processing, the system creates the relevant claim item grouping and copies the data from the last claim item grouping to the new claim item grouping (such as data from a prescription to a benefit decision).
- Only Create if No Valid Grouping Exists
When you execute the function code in claims processing, the system only creates the relevant claim item grouping if no valid claim item grouping of this category exists.
Dependencies
With the setting Copy Previous Grouping:
In IMG activity Configure Display of Function Codes, you can control whether the following data should be copied:
- Claim item/s
- Diagnoses
- Participants
- Data captured in structured facts capture.
